I decided to eat here on my own today as a reason to get out of the house and try something new, and I really loved it! The server was literally the kindest guy and the other staff was also so accommodating and sweet. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. Here's what made it exceptional: Food Quality: The food came out steaming hot, which immediately set the stage for a delicious meal. Appetizer: The homemade bean dip is an absolute standout. It's rich, flavorful, and a must-try. The combination of fresh ingredients and a homemade touch really makes it shine. Main Course: I opted for the chili relleno, and it didn't disappoint. The breading on the chili is exceptional and adds a delightful texture to the dish. Specialty Drinks: Be sure to try one of their cocolitos specialty drinks – they're all incredible. They provide a refreshing and unique complement to the meal. Parking and Location: Parking is convenient, with options just across the street or on the same street as the restaurant. It's reassuring to know that you won't have to struggle to find a parking spot. The restaurant is situated in the heart of downtown on historic Main Street, which adds to the overall charm of the experience. Staff and Service: The staff is friendly and accommodating. Although some of the newer staff may not have all the answers yet, their warmth and willingness to assist make up for it. Service has consistently been quick during each of our visits, with no frustrating wait times. It's clear that they value your time and prioritize efficient service. Sides and Chips: Don't forget to order the bean dip; it's a side that pairs well with any dish. The salsa and chips that come with the meal are a delightful appetizer, with a mild salsa that complements the flavors of the meal. In summary, this restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience. With its hot and flavorful food, a standout bean dip, and a variety of specialty drinks to choose from, it's a place that deserves a visit. The convenient parking options and historic Main Street location only add to the appeal. The staff's friendliness and quick service make it a place you'll want to return to. If you're looking for a new dining spot in town, don't miss this gem!

I am very picky about Mexican restaurants because I feel like most places are the same bland flavors, but Not here! Cocolitos is my favorite Mexican place that I've been to in Utah so far. All the flavors are exceptional (comparatively speaking), the atmosphere is perfect for a Mexican restaurant, and the service is satisfactory. They also have the Most Amazing horchata I've ever had and my first time having it I had to have a refill because I downed the first glass in a few minutes it was so good. They have several non-alcoholic specialty drinks which are delicious as well, including Pina colada. So if you want better than the ordinary, bland Mexican food you can get in every town, come to Cocolitos! Yummy!

Cocolitos has been on the corner of Main and 100 S since I was in high school and I just now got around to trying it and it did not disappoint. The negatives are very few and quite small. 1. When we walked in, we waited for about 3-5 minutes before we were greeted in a pretty empty restaurant. Once greeted, we were seated promptly. 2. The staff are clearly all in high school and young so they're inexperienced and a little slow but that's ok, they're learning and this is a small local business so we really don't have an issue but if speed is a big factor for you, then be aware. The positives: 1. Really affordable. The meals were all reasonably priced which is nice when feeding a family. 2. We loved the chips and salsa. The chips were warm and tasted homemade with just the right amount of salt and we really enjoyed the salsa. 3. The refried black beans were delicious and seemed to be homemade. 4. We enjoyed our entrees but they did feel like they were on the smaller side, could've been bigger but still delicious. 5. It's a local business that seems family owned and we love supporting that. Overall, I would recommend Cocolitos and I'll be back!
